Your wound care provider is not local.
There are more and more wound care companies every day moving into the New York Market. Unfortunately for you, because they are not local, they outsource your care- employing physicians and nurses who have no “ownership mentality” and little motivation.
Home Life is local. We can see you any time, in home or office. We may end up knowing you better than you know yourself.
2. Your wound care is from different providers all the time.
Because providers are merely middle men, working for a corporation, they get paid a small fraction of the total fee. Unhappy with their income, these providers leave for greener pastures, leaving you in the lurch.
Home Life and its physicians have been in the New York City area for 20 years. We’re not going anywhere until your wound is healed. You will be seen by a single provider for the duration of your care.
3. Scheduling difficulties
Who do you call? The doctor who has no local office or the company based in Michigan? You’ll be hard pressed to get through to someone who knows your situation well.
Home LIfe can be reached any time by phone, fax, or email. There will never be a scheduling hitch because we live and work nearby.
4. No added service
Wound care companies take a hands off approach to your other concerns including prescription renewal, blood pressure measurement, and social needs.
Home Life providers do it all. We have no problem spending extra time to help you out with your other medical needs.
5. No follow up
Corporate employed providers have a hard time making it to all the multiple cities and towns they are ordered to visit in a day. When you are too far, they will likely skip your visit all together.
Home Life works just in the 5 boroughs. We’ll be there for your follow up appointments rain or shine.
